Open Source Controls, LLC is searching for an Account Manager to join their team. The Account Manager will be responsible for the development of potential customers and maintaining those relationships.

  • Our ideal candidate will be a reliable professional able to achieve balance between customer orientation and account management
  • Must be a highly organized, self-starter who uses a results-driven approach
  • Will have excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Have experience estimating labor and parts for a variety of projects including bid projects and customer direct projects.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with potential and existing customers in the controls and building automation fields.
  • Identify and locate new customers through a variety of methods, including networking and cold calls.
  • Apply knowledge of the field and product features to match products to the needs of customers.
  • Answer inquiries from customers concerning products, their uses, and the industry at large.
  • Play a vital role towards process improvement, increased sales efficiency, and company branding.
  • Drive profitable revenue growth, with a gross margin objective as defined in the Account Manager Offer Agreement
  • BA in business administration, sales, or marketing (desired)
  • Proven experience as an Account Manager, or in other sales/customer service role
  • Experience in the field of controls automation (preferred)
  • Working knowledge of sales methods and principles
  • Knowledge of MS Office; knowledge of a CRM software is a plus
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships
