Primary Responsibilities

  • Develops and maintains relationships with potential and existing customers in the controls and building automation fields.
  • Identify and locate new customers through a variety of methods, including networking and cold calls.
  • Apply knowledge of the field and product features to match products to the needs of customers.
  • Answer inquiries from customers concerning products, their uses, and the industry at large.
  • Play a vital role towards process improvement, increased sales efficiency, and company branding.
  • Drive profitable revenue growth, with a gross margin objective as defined in the Account Manager Offer Agreement.

Qualifications

  • BA in business administration, sales, or marketing (desired).
  • Proven experience as an Account Manager, or in another sales / customer service role.
  • Experience in the field of controls automation (preferred).
  • Working knowledge of sales methods and principles.
  • Knowledge of MS Office; knowledge of CRM software is a plus.
  • Excellent communication / presentation skills and the ability to build relationships.
  • Enthusiastic and passionate.
